Gaines, Novick, Ponzini, Cossu & Venditti, LLP announced today that Denise Cossu and David Venditti, who were both previously Counsel to the firm, have been named Partners in the firm.

“Gaines, Novick, Ponzini, Cossu & Venditti, LLP has grown by nearly fifty per cent just the last two years” noted Managing Partner Steven Gaines, “the elevation of Denise Cossu and David Venditti, both seasoned litigators, only continues the expansion of our practice and our ability to serve the legal needs of Westchester County and the entire metropolitan area”.

Denise Cossu concentrates in the trial and appellate work in both state and federal court, primarily in the area of commercial litigation. She also has extensive experience in personal injury, professional malpractice, and municipal and criminal law. A graduate of Hofstra University Law School, Ms. Cossu, who previously practiced with major New York City firms, joined Gaines, Novick, Ponzini, Cossu & Venditti, LLP in April of 2006.

David Venditti came to the firm in 2009 from the international firm of Skadden, Alps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, LLP. David has over 26 years of broad-based commercial and civil litigation, real estate, land use, development and transactional experience in Westchester County and New York City. David’s clients have included some of the largest real estate development and management companies in the metropolitan area, and he lectures regularly on Land Use and Zoning. A graduate of Brooklyn Law School, Mr. Venditti has been an elected Trustee of the Village of Briarcliff Manor for the last eight years and is a former President of the Greater Ossining Bar Association.
